ABA Therapy

 Behavioral  Intervention Services

Our Behavioral Intervention Services program is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Our team works directly with our clients, ages 2 - 10 years, and their families to provide customized, data-driven programming and goals that cover a broad range of life-enhancing areas including: communication, daily living, learning, problem solving, self-help and/or vocational skills. We provide therapy sessions weekly — and in some cases, daily — at our center, in their homes, in their schools and/or in the community.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

is a complex developmental condition that involves persistent challenges in social interaction, speech and nonverbal communication, and restricted/repetitive behaviors. The effects of ASD and the severity of symptoms are different in each person.

A person with autism might:

01

Not show facial expressions like happy, sad, angry, and surprised by 9 months of age

02

Not respond to their name by 12 months of age

03

Line up toys or other objects and get upset when order is changed

04

Have delayed speech and language skills

05

Have obsessive interests

Our ABA Therapy Services

Home

Our behavior therapists work with your child one-on-one in your home for a number of authorized hours a week. Home sessions are administered naturalistically and incorporate your family’s typical daily routines. Programs are individualized and intervention is designed to work on social skills, communication, play or may be more specific to target a particular skill like toilet training or brushing teeth.

Center

Our behavior therapists work with your child one-on-one in a child-friendly environment. Our Fresno Center is designed for individual instruction with areas and opportunities for group activities and table-based instruction. Center-based instruction is great for intensive service hours and provides your child with a structured environment to help adjust to a routine of going to a set location to learn.

School

Our behavior technicians provide one-on-one support to your child in their academic setting to achieve maximum instruction and learning opportunities throughout the day. We work with your child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to help them meet their academic, social, and behavioral goals.

Community

ABA services can be administered in the community to incorporate your family’s day-to-day life. This may include going to the park, grocery store, library or somewhere fun like a local amusement or recreation area.

Parent Training

Each of our programs include parent training components. Based on the family’s availability, we empower parents and caregivers to apply the skills learned in therapy to address their child’s challenging behaviors.
