Early Intervention

Serving Fresno and the Central Valley

In Fresno and surrounding cities in the Central Valley, we provide comprehensive Early Intervention Services to children living with autism or other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Our Fresno Center is located in the West Shaw Financial Park and serves clients from Fresno, Clovis, Kerman, Sanger and surrounding areas.

Early Intervention

 Based on The PLAY Project
(Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters)

Early Intervention Services have been proven beneficial for children 0-3, with a language delay, at risk, or diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our services consist of a certified PLAY Project early intervention specialist (EIS) who offers weekly in-home visits of modeling and coaching play-based methods, as well as collecting video of play interactions to provide written feedback.

The principles, methods and techniques of early intervention emphasize improving the interaction between parent and child while working on specific developmental outcomes and goals.

Why Early Intervention?

Early intervention improves and enhances the developmental progress of a child living with autism or other neurodevelopmental differences. Coordinated, structured services allow individuals to work toward independence while preparing them and their families to be their best advocates.

We strive to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day.

We understand.

We can help.

Client-centered and Individualized

Our services address the urgent need for effective intervention for children as young as 18 months. We customize interventions to meet the unique needs of each client while educating and developing a community of support for the families we serve.

Our four main goals:

1

Helping children build independence and self-determination

2

Teaching the tools for developing and maintaining loving relationships

3

Providing each child an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to family, school, and community

4

Disseminating best practice methodologies through parent and professional training and education
